The focus of the entire team at RCI - Realistic Computing, Inc. is to understand your business, your goals and how we can help use innovative IT solutions to get you there. We understand that no two companies are the same, and we promise we’ll never put you in a box.
I am dedicated and focused entrepreneur. Having excelled in the rigorous curriculum of computer science at Hood College (Frederick, MD), Ramsey immediately began her quest to become a business owner that offered solutions and service that reflect her integrity and professionalism. Her dream was realized in 2000 as she founded Realistic Computing, Inc. (RCI), an award-winning comprehensive information technology company. Her commitment to success is demonstrated by the evolution of RCI from servicing small governmental agencies in the Baltimore region to an experienced and full-service firm (WBE and MBE certified) with a satellite office in Atlanta and the technological capability to serve clients nationwide. RCI has centers of excellence in the following categories: networks, applications development, managed services, and maintenance. Ramsey’s visionary leadership is the culmination of years of study, consultative experience, and hands-on installation of complex hardware and software applications.
Keys to business success are reliability and trust. I lead an enthusiastic team who train, install, manage, and organize customized solutions for medium and large corporations and governmental agencies. Her associates reflect her strong work ethic and unique commitment to service. Clients of RCI often speak of her accessibility, friendliness, and willingness to step, as necessary, to ensure job completion. Thus, it is of no surprise that her attention to detail and emphasis on customer satisfaction enables her to maintain long-term contracts and relationships. A 2012 Enterprising Women Award Winner, Ramsey prides herself on leading a company that uses cutting-edge technological tools while maintaining a simple and user-friendly service policy.
With a similar commitment to empowerment, I remain engaged in local community service in various ways. Through her participation as a speaker in the “She Matters Girls’ Empowerment” conference and the Coppin State College Business Program, Ramsey uplifts young people and encourages their curiosity in the computer industry. In addition, each year RCI administers its “Thanks Giving Bowl” whereby Ramsey selects a non-profit organization to give direct financial support and the company serves as a host company for interns from various local universities. Moreover, Ramsey makes donations to charities such as the YMCA, Spectrum Support, Inc., and the Community Assistance Network. Truly her altruistic character and concern for the well-being of community can be recognized in both spirit and action.
